May 8, 2018- Rep. Chris Smith recently recognized the 2018 Congressional Art Competition winners from NJ-04 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton, reported Community News. Winners include high school students from Freehold Township, Hamilton, Red Bank, Robbinsville and Wall.
Rep. Smith’s annual involvement in the Congressional Art Competition demonstrates his continued commitment to supporting education and encouraging creativity among high school students in our district.
“Every year, the Congressional Institute sponsors this national high school visual art competition to recognize and foster artistic talent in each congressional district. Since the competition began in 1982, more than 650,000 high school students have participated. Participation in the contest is at the discretion of each member’s office,” reported Community News.
